Job Duties and Responsibilities of Seasonal Package Handler:

• Safely transport packages to their destination via UPS, ensuring timely and secure delivery to both residential and commercial areas.
• Providing exceptional service while dropping off packages is essential to maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Employees of UPS must make it their priority to comply with both DOT and company rules, including guidelines for professional appearance.
• To guarantee the safe delivery of packages that have been lifted or moved, ensuring their proper handling and transportation is of utmost importance, especially when they weigh up-to 70 lbs.
• Ensure optimum productivity by working closely with other team members to plan and coordinate delivery routes and schedules.
• Maintaining precise documentation of shipments is vital to ensuring timely completion of assigned duties.

Qualifications and Experience of Seasonal Package Handler:

A lawful driver's license that does not contain any past violations.

• Meeting the weight-lifting requirements set by the DOT physical exam, which involve carrying objects weighing up to seventy pounds.
• Skilled at interacting with clients and showcasing exceptional customer service capabilities that have been honed through years of working across diverse fields including this industry
• An authenticated document demonstrating satisfactory completion of secondary education from a recognized institution
• Package delivery experience is an added benefit but not required
