Job Description of Light Truck Driver:

Working as a UPS Light Truck Driver involves delivering packages while driving the brand's iconic brown trucks. You are in charge of ensuring timely delivery and providing top-notch customer service to both home and business clients. This position is suitable for those who enjoy being active, spending time outdoors, and driving. Every day on the job entails delivering packages, giving excellent customer service, and showcasing pride as a UPS representative.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Light Truck Driver:

• Ensure that all traffic and safety regulations are followed when operating a UPS delivery vehicle to guarantee the well-being of oneself and others on the road.
• The job involves collecting, moving, and distributing parcels of diverse shapes and sizes to various business and residential locations.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and make sure customers receive positive delivery experiences.
• It is important to follow the UPS Uniform and Personal Appearance Guidelines to maintain a polished and businesslike appearance.
• Utilize handheld technology to manage deliveries and ensure the most efficient routes for completing assigned routes.
• Compliance with UPS's dress code guidelines is crucial, and it is mandatory to don the company-distributed attire.
• Engage in work that extends to the whole duration of the shift, usually spaing for 8 to 10 hours per day.

Qualifications and Experience of Light Truck Driver:

• Adept at handling loads weighing up to 70 lbs without any hassle.
• A commercial driver's license may not be necessary provided you have a valid driver's license that complies with the regulations of your state.
• Achieve the required physical fitness levels as determined by the DOT exam.
• Exceptional delivery-oriented service with superior driving aptitude.
• Individuals who wish to be employed in the U.S. must have the legal right to work in the country.
